# Watchland

> Watchland is a free Android app with a curated catalogue of nearly 1,000 watch faces for Wear OS 6 smartwatches, including Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and newer (with One UI 8 Watch) and Google Pixel Watch. Every face is built in Google's Watch Face Format (WFF) and installs from the phone to the watch in two taps. Made by Bailong, an independent app studio in Canada (https://bailong.fyi/).

- Compatibility: needs a watch on Wear OS 6 or later paired with an Android phone. That covers Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and newer, including Galaxy Watch Ultra, once updated to One UI 8 Watch; Google Pixel Watch models on Wear OS 6; and other Wear OS 6 watches. Tizen-based Galaxy watches, Apple Watch and iPhone are not supported.
- Why it works on new watches: since Wear OS 5, new watches only install watch faces built in Watch Face Format. Watchland converts every face to WFF and checks it on a Wear OS emulator before listing it.
- Price: free, with free downloads every day and ads; optional Premium (first month free; monthly, yearly or one-time lifetime) gives unlimited downloads, no ads, early access and whole-collection downloads.
- Faces: analog, digital and hybrid (dive, pilot, chronograph, retro LCD, minimal AMOLED, fun), with complications (battery, steps, heart rate, weather, date, moon phase) and always-on (ambient) mode. Animated preview before download; weekly collections and Top Charts.
- Install: Google Play, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=co.bailong.watchland
- Coming soon, AI Face Creator: designs a watch face from a sentence, offers four designs, changes any part on request, and builds the result as a Watch Face Format face (photo-real tourbillons and gear trains that move, lume, neon and sunlit light styles, backlit LCD digital faces, optional depth that follows the wrist). Closed beta for Premium members as of 2026-11-01; not yet available to everyone. Launch list: https://watchland.ca/ai-face-creator/
